For the best all around and plentiful breakfast go to Billy's on 27/441 right here. Owner operated and the best home fries this side of New York

Default Breakfast

For a really good breakfast with no frills, I recommend a diner called Fruitland Park Cafe on 441 in Fruitland Park, just south of 466a. Otherwise, First Watch - two locations.

Compared to what ?
We were happy as clams to discover First Watch last month. Excellent food and priced fairly, for us.
However, we don't eat at Waffle House or buffets so maybe our expectations are different.

Thats reads kinda snooty, its not meant to be at all.

I find that the food at Bob Evans is salty.....no matter wherever I travel, when I stop at a Bob Evans, it's salty. Darrel's is one of my favorites. You can even get grilled homefries with onions instead of the "french fried homefries" that most restaurants serve. Billy's Cafe on 441 is very good, as is Perkins in Spanish Springs on 441. Denny's on 441 is ok, but not great. First Watch and the Flying Biscuit have an eclectic menu. ........too much "foo foo" stuff added to the food that I don't care for. I'm a bacon and eggs and homefries or pancakes and ham kind of guy.
