Does anyone know where to take men's clothing where it can be given away rather than end up in a thrift store?

I would just advertise it for free on this website with the sizes. I cannot imagine a charity being able to match men's clothing to someone with the proper size. That is why they sell clothing in thrift stores. Bargains and Blessings in Wildwood is a church based charity that uses volunteers, but it would be sold in their thrift store.

Salvation Army takes clothing. Call their Orlando number, they are in Thes every week to pick up and it is a good place to donate.

Yes, but it will be sold in their thrift store, which is what the OP doesn't want.

Default Salvation Army

Long ago, I was told, by The Salvation Army, that clothing is sent to the thrift store, and the homeless are given "chits" to go buy from the store. I did not want my dad's clothing sold either, but he had such great respect for The Salvation Army, I did give all the clothes to them. It seems that if this is the way it still works, the homeless do get it free. And get the joy of "shopping".
