Before going into the dealership I used "Truecar.com" to determine what a fair price for my Sonata Limited Turbo should be. I walked into Jenkins with the printout showing what I was willing to pay and they honored that price. As a matter of fact, I was so pleased with the experience that I purchased a second vehicle from them the same way. (Give truecar.com a try) I always take my cars to Jenkins for service and never have been pressured to trade-up or get service I don't need.

I did have a transmission problem recently and must say, the service department treated me very well. They had my car towed to the dealership, gave me a loaner and called me the first day to give me the status of my repair and called the second day to tell me my car was ready. Went to pick it up and as they do with every service, they gave me a voucher for Atlantis Carwash. I think they are great and certainly will continue to do business with them. I only wish American manufacturers were as focused on customer satisfaction as Hyundai is because I'd love to buy American. (They first have to match the Hyundai 100K mile warranty)

I've noticed in ads, web sites and mailers from many area dealers that they refer to the "Black Book" to determine trade-in value.
Today I received a mailer from a local dealer saying that my trade was worth $16,230 (according to Black Book) but that they would give me up to an additional $3,500 -- for a total of $19,730.
Guess what the Kelley Blue Book (around since the early 1900s) said my trade- in value was? Yep, exactly $19,730!
"Black Book" was set up for -- and probably by -- dealers.
Buyer beware!

Any car dealer that adds to the suggested retail sticker of an automobile does so for one of two reasons; they can show you more for your trade-in or offer you a bigger discount. If you're looking at a Mazda CX5, also consider he Honda CRV or Toyota RAV4. All are tops in a 'leading Consumer magazine.' With so much info out their regarding prices (Edmunds, NADA,etc), we've picked what we want, do our homework on pricing, and, when we're ready and I mean really ready to buy, we approach he dealer with '....I am a buyer today at $$$$$. If you can accept this, then we have a deal. We do enough homework and will offer a fair profit to the dealer. By fair, I will pay up to $500 over true invoice. Don't forget that the dealer most likely picks up 2 1/2 % profit on the back (usually on the wholesale base price less freight), any dealer incentives from the factory and percentages on any financing they do too. Oh, and one last thing, never fall in love with the car or let the salesperson know that either. Sorry that this may have been a little long in the tooth but hopes this helps anyone who tunes in.

Besides "the list" that I had to deal with with my last ever brand new American car (all those things one has to bring a new car back to the dealership to fix—things that should never have been issues if there had been proper quality control during manufacturing), I had three warranty issues. For every one of them I had to fight the manufacturer tooth and nail to get them to stand behind their vehicle. Some years later, I traded the car at 80,000 miles—the engine was knocking so badly that it was just about shot—and that was when I said "Never again!" I too would love to buy an American car but feel as though American cars have left me....

Just checked their online website and they have the grand touring for 27600.00
Called up there and asked they gent If I come up there, is that my price or will it be jacked up. He said they one I asked about was 27605.00

We bought 2 cars, one at Jenkins in Leesburg and one in Ocala. Were treated right both times. Although their advertised price does not include downpayment. That bothered me a lot.

Try using TRUECAR.COM . Gives you the prices that dealer will sell to you. You do not haggle with a salesman. Try it, very easy, I bought my last car that way.

Simple resolution is to not but foreign junk!!!!! BUY AMERICAN! I have 2 new ones and I'm happy with both and the service and dealings I've had with 2 of the dealerships!

USA won this time! I've always driven GM or Chrysler but did not particularly like any of their 2014 products so I bought my first Ford, Escape! It gets good reviews and we like having a dealer close by for service issues!
