Default Lower new home prices

I noticed some new Amarillo models today priced between 160 and 165K. It seems the prices keep dropping. Watching the news this week it looks like the lower prices will be around at least through next year.

where did you see those prices? I looked on their website and didn't see any Amarillos for that price. Is there more than one site?

They only list some of the homes for sale on the web, there are too many to list all. Check these out.

go to the villages.com, cilck on Homes across the top then stylish new homes on the left, then browse our selection, at the bottom of where you put in search criteria there is a place to put in the VNH number. Happy hunting.

I found these two using the above method, but I don't know how I'd have found them otherwise, they're not on TV list of new homes yet?????

You have to remember there are maybe 100's of new homes that are not listed on the web site. Your sales person is the one to keep you informed.

Must be so low because they are a "new" model with 0 Bedrooms/0 Bathrooms 0 Den and no Sq Feet ??? Thats a bit small for us but I so like the price.
Wonder if its expandable?

Be aware that The Villages sales person will only show you the homes he/she wishes to show you - not all that are available - so as not to "confuse" or "overwhelm" you, the buyer. Since the house is most likely a new home, you must hurry and make a quick decision because there is a three-hour window of opportunity. Another "buyer" has requested a three-hour "hold" if you do not buy the house immediately.

Please, please, please, overcome the temptation to rush into anything. Don't let that three hour nonsense sway you. Do your homework. Make sure the house is what you want. If you don't get this house, there are "literally" thousands more to chose from. Tell your Villages agent to "hold their horses." I wish I had followed my own advise before snapping up a lot and signing the papers too quickly. I didn't do my homework and now I'm stuck with a rotten freight train in the back yard.

We rode up today to look at those models - they are not there. Only the streets - nothing is built in that area yet, so I would not count on that being the final price.

Can you say bait and switch? Don't forget the re-sales...PLENTY of motivated sellers with very nice properties set-up and "ready to go".

I was told that even though those homes are not yet built they could be purchased at the price on the web. They reflect the new lower price structure. Best to talk to your sales person if interested.

The joke is when the salesman tells you that they are going to hold the house for a max of 2 hours.
