Obviosuly I was referring to the case where there is no traffic as people do stop when there is traffic coming. Rolling through stop signs, particularly on the neighborhood streets when there is nobody coming, happens almost universally with cars and golf carts. Serious cyclists roll through stop signs, when it is clear, almost universally. It is what it is. To suggest otherwise is absurd.

Did a bicyclist or more than one pull out in front of original poster of this thread, if so he has a right to complain as I've seen us bicyclist guilty of that. If it is another one of those "you kids get off my lawn posts" someone needs a hobby.

It makes no difference if none or 100 have been hit by cars by not stopping. The STOP sign is the law - not a suggestion.

So are turn signals, blinkers or whatever one may call them.......if nobody calls the offender on their actions, it will continue to get worse.

It wasn't so obvious as you want it to sound now...you made a very broad statement. But even in the more specific cases you refer to, suggesting cars and carts universally cruise through them is what's absurd.

Actually Paper 1 ,and I don't have to explain, they rode right across in front of me. I sounded the horn but they didn't even look in the direction from where I was coming. As some one else said car and bicycle, bicycle loses. I don't want that to happen. Stop. You could cause traffic accidents when a car is trying to avoid you.
