Daily Sun Front page article today 3/18 headline, "Suspect Sought in Carjacking" ,including pictures.
In light of the item being in the Daily Sun wasn't the above comment unnecessary and offensive?

[QUOTE=graciegirl;254617]You people report the news better than The Daily Sun.

Gracie, We don't have cable so when I want to know about an ongoing incident in TV, I always come here to TOTV! Great source of info !!!!

We live off of Stillwater in the Olanta Loop area. The Sheriff's dept. helicopters were flying over us continually for several hours and we had many deputies walking through the yards, some with their canines. Kind of exciting for guests we had visiting. It kind of put the St. Patricks Day celebration to shame ; )

Awww come on Bogie. It was funny. I feel sure it was meant to be satirical humor. It is true that sometimes The Daily Sun is a little more aptly called The Daily FUN!

And most times that is o.k. with me.

Default TV News

Maybe the problem is not the Daily Sun but what we are accustomed to reading in the news where we lived before moving to the villages. Most of us lived in larger cities or near to them and read the daily crime and violence associated with big city life. Yesterday, in Honolulu, a neighbor opened fire on the folks next door (one died) for the constant noise they were making with late night parties. The story was on page 5. TV does have some crime but not near the violence you find in other areas. That fact is one of the things that draws me to live in TV in my senior years.

Follow up article in the Daily Sun this morning. Turns out it was a 37 year old villager leaving a friends house at 3:00AM and was carjacked. Three fugitives identified and still at large.
