We prominently staged a 3 foot long rubber snake at the window area. Stopped the problem immediately. The problem recurred once after we removed the snake; we returned the snake.

It will taper off as the breeding season goes away. Notice that is the male of the species that is warding off what they think is competition moving into their territory.
