Reports are that the alligator at Turtle Mound had Black Panther Stew last night. What a jungle we live in!

There was a similar incident--both 52 though-- in front of a church in Oklahoma. We will have to see if that couple faces the same kind of harsh sentences. In front of a church in the Bible Belt. Not smart. http://www.okcfox.com/story/25987087...ma-city-church

Back to the panther. There seem to be quite fewer wild cats in Lynnhaven now that a coyote infrequently visits this area. It was on a neighbor's front porch a few months back probably hunting rabbits which are also the game of the various feral cats.

The Villages Florida

Here is a motion sensor photo of a Florida Panther chasing a wild hog taken east of Gainesville in the middle of the night. There is only suppose to be a couple of hundred Florida Panthers left and only in south Florida. This photo certainly proves they are much further north.

A TOTV member who lives alongside Heron executive not long ago posted that his backyard had been dug up by wild hogs. Around that same time I've spoke with a couple of golfers who saw a Florida Panther on Cane Garden 'Hibiscus' nine, which is very near Heron. It seems there might be some truth to these stories.

What's with all these snide remarks, most people treat their pets like family members.

This is Florida. After dark our myriad of wild animals hunt. A leash might have saved this dog.

I just re-read the OP. I didn't catch at first that the little dog went missing. Very sad. How long would it have taken to snap on a leash? I will remember this when I dog sit my sister's ShiuTsu in a couple of weeks. I live near Glenview.

I will also be on the lookout for "Saucy Cougar" next time I am at at City Fire.
