Is there a way to block posts of selected members on this forum?

You can’t block posts but you can block posters using the ignore feature. Although, if someone quotes a blocked poster you will see that blocked posters quote.

The Ignore System works well to block members.
When I hit Usercp, I see "Edit Ignore List" in green to my left.

It still shows the thread title if the blocked person is the OP.

I have placed more than one on the ignore list and it does help considerably reducing the flow of unwanted dialogue.
Also eliminates the temptation to respond/engage to the unwanted dialogue!

I notice that my ability to resist responding to some of the stuff is hindered by my consumption of adult beverages. I still have to read it though. It either amuses or amazes me.

Some the posters have almost made me start drinking but not yet. If not for the Ignore List... I would know a lot more bartenders and waitresses than I do as well as psychiatric social workers.
