Do you realize how many of these buildings are pre-fab? I've seen oil company convenience stores torn down and replaced within a day. Not open and running..but town down, replaced and then being outfitted. If the corporate word is that they are reopening then there is no reason to doubt them. If they were not planning to do so, you would not be hearing ANYTHING from them. They would just close and go away.

Heard that is was closing for a week for remodeling. Suppose to open next Sunday

Long live Bob Evans. The food may not be top notch, but it's predictable. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is usually friendly. We think it's a great spot for all-day breakfasts.

Wonder how they will treat their long term employees while closed for re-modeling. Guess they can't work at the one in Leesburg since that one closed too.

Bob Evans is making major changes and refreshing all of their restaurants. This has been done in stages - a few at a time. So it is our time - should emerge even better. Is still Bob Evans.

Thanks for the updates! Wanted to eat there today and plainly surprised. But, did notice the newly sealed parking area, so figured it was a major remodel.
They are one restaurant that offers a lot of BOGO coupons and we do appreciate it.

I wonder what made you think it was being torn down if it isn't being torn down.

I hope it isn't. I love that place to eat inexpensive comfort food. I have heard many good reports on their bean soup.;)

I would think that a Bob Evans in south TV would do well. Along 466A in or near Colony Plaza would be great----Perkins or IHOP will beat them to build if they don't do something soon IMHO. Don't care for Denny's but a breakfast restaurant is needed.

If anyone has ever been to the Ocala one, it is being remodeled like that.

hope employees could transfer

It appears that employees transferring is a non issue.

I heard a couple of months ago from a friend who goes there all the time that remodel was on the schedule. Good for Bob Evans as a busy restaurant really needs refurbished occasionally---it's good business.
