Default Bond Amount for New Patio Villa

For those of you who have bought new patio villas in the past year or two in Buttonwood, Pennecamp or St. James, would you mind sharing how much the total bond amount was for the patio villa you purchased? Thanks in advance.

I'd be interested in seeing that too. Our Ashland villa only had a bond of $5000 I believe.

Default CYV Bond Amount

I am planning on purchasing a Bonita as soon as my house sells here in New Jersey - hopefully soon - please keep your fingers crossed for me. My sales rep gave me a paper for the bond amount for a CYV in Crestview Villas in Buttonwood and it is $11,408.44. Not sure once I sell and buy a house in the Villages it will be that amount but I assume it will be somewhere close to that amount if not exactly that amount. Hope this helps.

If the bond on a CYV is approx $11,500 what are the bonds on Designer homes with and without a golf course view?

I don't know why more posters who know the facts aren't forthcoming, however from reading this board for a couple of years this is what I've learned; Patio Villas are about $10,000, CYV about $11,000 - $15,000, cottages about $15,000 - $2000 and designer homes range from $20,000 - $40,000.

That sounds about right (for new homes). In my mind, one plus for buying a pre-owned, is the smaller bond amount.

The bond for our designer home is about $23K.

The bond is based on the section (within the actual Village) where you purchase. As Dan mentioned the bond for our section is just over 23K. This is true of every home, regardless of view, in our section of Buttonwood that Dan and I live in.

The CYV sections are a section to themselves and their bond is lower but it would be all the same for every CYV in that section regardless of view.

Hope that helps.
