I'm a bit surprised by your asking. We are using water from underground sources. It is processed and then fed to your home by gravity-the water towers we see. The water will flow from the tower to you home by gravity. If, the power does out due to a storm it may not be possible to pump the water out of the ground or up into the tower and contamination from sewage is also possible.

BEST TO BE PREPARED.

I have had well water all of my adult life till moving to the Villages.
The water here absolutely sucks. So I drink bottled water. I use tap water for coffee and tea.

All storms news outlets warn of stocking up just in case.

Same all over wether it be water, batteries etc. Just common sense if you've lived long enough or lived through any storms/acts of nature.

First we do not have wells. People buy bottled water when storm is anticipated for peace of mind. More than two cases in my opinion is excess. But to each his own. Been here 23 yrs never had a electrical.outage that lasted more than hours never days. Stay Safe

6 days is nothing, the one day you do not prepare is the day you wish you did. Have lived in TX and FL for 23 years
