Default Bravo to The Villages Philharmonic Orchestra

Tonight, on Columbus Day, our Philharmonic Orchestra had a fabulous selection of music. Mostly Italian, featuring three fabulous tenors. The encore calls ran on for 20 minutes.

The evening started with a wonderful rendition of our National Anthem - with the entire audience standing and singing from start to finish. You’d have thought the Mormon Tabernacle Choir was at The Sharon. A terrific beginning for a spectacular evening.

Thank you to The Villages Philharmonic Orchestra!

That sounds like it would have been fun. Good to hear that you had a good time. Had a live-in girlfriend (now lawyer) who was born on October 12 that often falls on Columbus Day. That's how I remember it. I send her an e-mail once in a while.

What a wonderful report!

We have gone many times to listen to them and to The Village Voices and to the many other amazing groups of Villagers with extraordinary music ability and life long musical experience. The musical and artistic talent here is one of the things I love about this place. AND the availability of imported musical talent as well.

I bet not a single soul who was enjoying the evening was thinking about piles of palm fronds.

Three extraordinary tenors plus an incredible orchestra. What an evening.
