What GG said!

These are the folks that think "the rules don't apply to me" AKA - ENTITLED. Many of these folks just THINK they are better than the rest of the COMMON folk.

These are the same folks that see a line of cars at an off-ramp and think that they don't have to get in line and that they can just "jump in" ahead of everyone that has been patiently waiting in line. Hubby and I see it all the time up here during "weekender traffic" as we commute from MA to NH. I can tell you that most are not the normal daily commuters for work up here. I can't wait until we can call TV "home"!

Smile People bring rudeness with them from their home city/state

We're from the midwest and have lived in 5 other states besides where we grew up. In the other states, we have always lived in suburbs of medium-large metro areas. In some places, especially in New England, many people were extremely rude and uppity toward "outsiders" they think were born in a log cabin without plumbing, while in other states (midwestern), most people were so friendly that it amazed us the whole time.....instantly treated us as if they had known us forever. Personal wealth or not had little to do with it.

People bring that with them to TV and thank goodness, most people we've met are genuinely "hometown friendly". And I think many people who came from ruder societies have learned here how to be more open and friendly.

ok, now first off, don't shoot the messanger!!! But here is what I have been told and seen by ACTUAL people. I have found the rudeness goes up when the snow birds come down. I was told by one snowbird, that they should have priority on everything in TV since they are only here part of the year but still have to pay for the whole year as if fulltimers!!

I was told by a vacationer from Michigan who was here for Feb, March & April that he didn't have to rake sand traps or fix ballmarks because he's just renting and he paid for that privilege. What can you say to that kind of stupidity?

Don't you think this happens more in the snowbird season?

Although I really do not want to I have to totally agree......
TV has a totally different feel once they head back North.

I can honestly say I have never met any person, anywhere that has said anything this arrogant within my earshot. My reaction would have been to laugh out loud. After realizing they were serious, I would fix every ball mark, rake every trap for them for the rest of the day always blurting out "I GOT THAT" before I did.

After the round I would make sure the pro shop knew of him.....

Well then, it stands to reason when they go back north they must have priority on everything there, since they pay fees as if they were there the whole year too.

Default villages

Do not get to carried-away. Remember most of the villages are from "up- north" I do not have a problem in these winter months, never had. Seems someone just start a rumor.
