I always like to have something to look forward to; lifts the spirits up a bit. My cart will likely stay in the Cart Garage for a while before I can use it.

Only those in the game know why and wherefore or whatever....however there always seems to be a lot of quarter backing from the desk chair!!!

Sometime in late 2020 I make a SWAG that golf cart traffic from Southern Oaks to Brownwood will be going strong. I don’t live south of Rt. 44 (just a village or two north) but it will be fun the first time we can take that first golf cart ride over Rt. 44 and the Turnpike to Southern Oaks. For those living in Southern Oaks, I suspect that Magnolia Plaza and some grocery shopping in Southern Oaks is just as anticipated as the golf cart connection to Brownwood. It will be fun to watch.

I was thinking the same thing, except substitute a championship golf course or two for a bridge.

I play Champs 4-5 times a week, with plenty of open tee times, as I age that will dwindle. Younger residents moving in don’t seem to play as much golf as those in their late 50s early 60s. When it opens great, not a big deal for us. Bridge to get over to will help fill in tee times

Everything you said, except I am thinking early 2020. We will see, doesn't matter really we are completely enjoying ourselves already!

Well unless you are the wicked witch of the East, the chances of a house falling on your head are pretty slim.

However, if you are driving down the turnpike and pass under a bridge, the odds go up significantly if they rush the construction of the bridge!

I am enjoying the free carts up north on championship courses so I am in no hurry to get it done. I would think the developer wants to finish the bridge as soon as possible so they can raise prices.

I am definitely looking forward to Magnolia Plaza being finished to be able to drive the cart there.

Never understood why people want to spend hours in a golf cart travelling to the far flung reaches of TV's, when car access is faster, safer, and more comfortable, and has been there all the time.
