Parking offsite
 

We always park offsite when flying out of Orlando and leaving TV for a week or two. Much less hassle!

Has anyone ever heard of someone having their vehicle towed? The Villages seem very lax about bad parking. Is Groome telling folks this just to drum up additional business?

Used Groome service for the first time last week. Picked us up in Wellpoint, south of turnpike at 4:50a, then we picked up 6 other people and didn't get to Orlando terminal 2 until 7:30a. I will pay extra for an Uber next time.

Take the big van next time.

They would need a ride to the Brownwood Terminal to do that. It’s only a matter of time before Groome adds a fourth terminal, most likely when Eastport opens.

Yep, $5/ person.

Per Groome’s new policy, that service is only available to residents living north of 466 and only to/from the Lake Sumter Landing terminal. Residents living south of 466 have the option of either the small van home pickup service or getting themselves to one of the terminals to take the direct bus. They kept the home to terminal service for residents living north of 466 only. They did this for the northern Villages residents because they have a seemingly forever ride through the villages, being the first to be picked up or last to be dropped off, with the home pickup van service.

I may have missed it but not indicated on their web site.

The web site is extremely vague regarding the policy. Once you create an account with Groome, with your Villages address saved in your profile, it will give you your booking options based on your address when you login to make a reservation.
