In the developer friendly VHA paper it had some interesting facts about the villages at build out. Here are some facts in case you did not see them. 1. 57,544 total homes 2. 112,786 population 3. 66,175 golf carts 4. 2048-number of homes in fruitland park surpassing duval with 1540 homes as the largest village. 5. 78 rec. centers NOT including fruitland park. Whoever got these numbers must have some valid basis. I would think the total number of houses must of come from the housing dept. which knows exactly how many houses are currently built or going to be built. Population and number of golf carts are a guestimate, but probably close.

I would wager that the population number is based upon the number of resident ID cards issued.

The numbers are a reasonable estimate. The more interesting guess is WHEN? Three years would be my guess---- putting buildout sometime in 2018.

They are building pretty fast in the new Bel Glade. I guess they feel the buying season is now or soon.

Wonder how much more crowded the golf cart path going into the Colony area will increase and how much more crowded Publix will be.

The developers agents have been saying build out would occur in two years since at least as early as 2006.
