So, were they really anything to worry about, or legit?

If anyone has an answer to this question, would you kindly post. I really don't think it's a good idea to be tying up the police phone lines, so each of us can get a "personal" answer to our questions.

I think it wise to see something say something.

When I spoke to the sheriff's office they seemed to encourage us to do so. And it isn't the emergency line. They have staff for just these kinds of issues.

Which truck do you want the information for?

It's not tying up the Sheriff's line if you see something suspicious.
There is a non-emergency line for your personal questions.

BTW there are hundreds of white trucks in and around TV everyday.

You could have acted like a helpful Villager and asked the truck driver if you could help him find whatever specific address he wanted. If he could not come up with one immediately, smile and leave. But copy down the license plate and call the non-emergency sheriff line immediately.

I didn't mean to imply that if someone saw something they shouldn't call the police. I'm sorry if it came off that way. Of course call the police.

There was one in particular someone had referred to... I thought maybe the poster was asking about that one. If I don't know the answer, I would just leave it for someone who does.
