I am so sorry that I gave incorrect information about the Village Grocery (and most everything else) Delivery business.

But, I'm still wondering how the Red Snapper Entree and delivery service went for you Kitty. Inquiring minds...

Thanks for starting this post Kitty! By you initiating, others added too, which is very helpful. The one thing I have not seen mentioned is curbing for landscaping. We are looking to do our sides and back, not much that I can find on this forum about curbing. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

I do have a suggestion. do a totv search for landscaping. in my neighborhood which is spanking new, most who get it done have an exact look with palms and stacked up pavers until I am bored with the sameness. so I don't have landscaping yet and don't know what I want.

TOTV is a great forum for referrals to service and retail providers as well as not so good reviews. I want to brag on many who have made me a happy customer. Moving isn't easy or cheap. Thanks to the following for excellence in integrity and great products or services:

*The Villages: developer, realtor, designer, builder, home warranty
T&D Pool and Spa: design, build, monthly service
Galaxy and Darrell the Bose guy: install during build and 24 hour availability
*TOTV: amazing social network, great moderators
BK Cunningham: personal assistant, house cleaner, home watch
*Don Cunningham: handy guy work
Wall Beds Plus: matched my kitchen build in office and wallbed
Stellar: annual contract for pest, trim, mow, weed, pressure wash
Neerlee New, Fruitland Park: furnished my home beautifully, inexpensively
Dr. Chesire: acupuncture
Jody Held: massage
Jani: hairdresser
Lowes: appliance delivery and installation
Best Buy: TVs, electronics
*Directv: free one year NFL package, records 5 games simultaneously
Village Interiors: plantation shutters inside of 3 weeks
Magic jack: so cheap it's hard to believe
Brighthouse: internet. so trouble free I forget who the provider is...LOL.
Mike Scott Plumbing: excellent service
*BB&T Bank: friendly, service oriented, accurate.

Kitty. Thanks for taking the time to make a rocking post!!! :BigApplause:

I would add to the list:
1. The Solar Guys, local 352.205.4204, toll free, 1.866.641.1963. I still have to catch myself before I get up to turn off a light as I still think some lights are on. Obviously, I am not home. :d
2. MVP Gym. Always clean and run very well. 8-12 PM is a great time for lifting weights, as they set-up all the machines, for you. I love their system to scan your palm, for easy access to their facility.
3. American Freight in Ocala, 352.369.1800 for new furniture, at very reasonable prices. Shipped straight from the factory to your home with no middleman. Cost of delivery is $125, paid in cash, but the cheap cost of furniture with good quality, more than makes up for the delivery cost. Also, 85% of what you buy is made in the USA.

All businesses with the asteriks, I already use.

I hope this helps and if anyone wants to share their positve experiences. I for one, as a newbie to TV would be grateful.

Very nice post Kitty.I was going to start a new thread about a great experience I just had with a business just outside of the Villages. We had a problem about 18 months ago with our computer.I knew what it was but didn't have the time to repair it myself at the time because we had company. Welll I brought it to a place called PC Wizard on 441 just south of 466 in a little plaza called Lady Lake plaza. They replaced the power supply in my PC for $80 & I had it back the same day.Well the other day my computer wouldn't power up again so I brought it back figuring I was going to spend around the same amount. The power supply had stopped working again .I got a call later in gthe day telling me that 4he power supply was still under warranty & they would be charging me $25 labor. I picked it up today & when I went to pay I was told no charge. So where I was expecting to pay these folks were very honest .

I'll second this - excellent service.
