Calling all Bridgeport owners with pools
Hi,
Designing a pool for my Bridgeport. Have a design to share with a pool to take advantage of the Bridgeport design? Thanks |

I'll snap a photo for you in a few hours. What is the bridgeport age?
Newer ones have larger lanais. Panoramic birdcage is an excellent option if you have a view. The vertical support beams are spaced at 14' I believe. The standard span is 8', so more posts but less continuous view. The greater spacing means more support in the birdcage roof which, overall, costs more. But balanced against tens of thousands paid for a view makes a great deal of sense. I don't understand why more people don't do this. Last edited by Toymeister; 04-12-2021 at 05:10 PM. Ah you want advice, that's different. In that case consider your pool will be predominantly on one side of the lanai or the other. If it is on the garage side -and- you have a GC garage, then put a back door on your garage to the the pool. Add a walk from there to your birdcage. Off of this door build a pad. If anyone asks this will be for your grill. Surround with 4' brick wall. Now you have a complaint proof ( no one can see it) place to keep the stinky garbage outside the house where it belongs. Install pathway from garage rear door to birdcage.
Put grill on lanai. Last edited by Toymeister; 05-25-2021 at 08:54 AM. |
