Default Christmas in The Villages

This will be our first year celebrating Christmas in The Villages. Because we have become aware of the many restrictions on lawn ornaments & outdoor decorations...what are the limitations around Christmas time.

Looking forward to no snow at Christmas:-)

As a general rule - guideline - seasonal decorations are allowable, for up to 30 days!

Just for me, I hope y'all'll avoid inflatable Santas and/or Rudolphs, though!

Do what you want! My wife and I go all out on Christmas. Put it all out during the first week of December. It is always a treat to take a drive around the immediate neighborhood in the cart and then to drive around the other neighborhoods in the car.

What a great opportunity to become creatively innovative by getting away from the usual (sometimes tacky) decorations and enhance the landscaping with additional lighting. There is wealth of talent right here amongst us and I'm so looking forward to seeing some really tastefull and ingenious decorations
