Default Floor plans

I've seen when people submit a request to ARC, they attach a copy of their home's floor plans...does anyone know where I can get a copy of my home's plans?

thank you

If you just want a generic floorplan, go to "thevillages.com". Click on search for homes and look for "model gallery".

If your home is less than 10 years old and in Sumter county, you can get your house plans from the Sumter county building department.

Just had a question about converting our lanai into a Florida room and called the building dept. The guy pulled up a copy of our plan very quickly and answered our question.

Very helpful

On that same topic...I was also looking to submit a request for a small backyard project. On their(ARC) form, it lists a whole bunch of required/requested forms? It does state that you initial, or put N/A on each line/form? How does one know which ones are not required for a particular project? Do I just call them? I don't want to put N/A, and then continually get rejected until I run out of time? Thanks.

You should be able to get a copy of your floor plan from the on-line tax records [Property Appraiser Office] for your County:
Sumter County Property Appraiser
Welcome to The Property Appraiser's Office for Lake County, Florida
