Very sorry for your damage.......just an inconsiderate idiot with behaviors of opening doors and let's them fly open.
Particularly, owners with older cars. Makes little difference where you park, it will happen, they will find you..... Been there.

It is surprising since the parking spaces allow for 2 golf carts. They are pretty wide considering that parking spaces for cars where there are no golf carts are probably one foot smaller. Was the ding circular or was it a vertical ding. I would imagine if another car door hit your car it would have a vertical dent. Otherwise I think it might have been a shopping cart.

So basically what you are saying it sort of like getting a " Flu " once the vehicle get's the initial ding, the vehicle is now immune for ……

Wow what a relief !

If you have a good automobile insurance it should cover most of this. These types of issues that are not collision related usually also have a low deductible. Like $250 ? At least check it out!

Ask the store you were near if they have cameras, you might get lucky and identify the irresponsible person who hit you. Good luck, hope you’re able.

Harder for them to find me when we are parked further away than we might have to.

We're you the person parked askew taking up three spots instead of just one?

I had a shopping cart hit my BMW and also some jerk in his golf cart scratch two circles of paint off of my bumper from screws on his license plate. Really irritating.

What, are you saying someone should step-up and take responsibility for their actions, good luck with that.

The " Have a Nice Day " has gotten old simply because well so many people say it without any sincerity .

Lastly with that sign in your window you are asking to get your vehicle keyed.

One was covered with dried mud, slipped out of my hand, and hit the side of the truck, causing a 2” round dent in her new truck. I felt awful about it and promised to pay for the repair. (Shouldn’t a truck body be stronger than that?) Of course, a year from now, judging from the condition of her last truck, she will have much bigger dents, and she won’t get them fixed.

As for me, I try to park maybe a hundred yards from the store I’m visiting if it is a busy period. I especially avoid tight spaces.

My girlfriend’s mother, who is 85, drives a fancy Lexus. She not only tries to park close to the store—even though she walks three miles a day—but when she wants to back out, she pulls straight back without looking. Last year a guy ran into her while she was doing that. She actually thought that she had the right of way if she was backing out! She argued that he was at fault.
Was that an aluminum body panel rather than steel?

All parking spaces should be wider for these old folks that throw their doors open like this one.
