Default Cart Insurance now covers renters

I insure my golf carts through The Villages Insurance, policy is with Foremost. Cost went up about $20 this year so I stopped in my agents office to ask why. I was upgraded to their Elite coverage which now covers you if you include golf cart in your rental homes.

Oh no. Now posters are going to have to find another reason to go on the "you could lose everything you own!" panic.

No...how about those posters who would have to stop in to the insurance agent to find out why the policy went up a whole $20

Any time any one of my bills goes up 20% I like to know why. My net worth thanks me every year.

Besides, my agent is just a few doors down from Publix.

$20 is almost 20% of his golf cart policy. Wouldn't you want to find out why your policy is up 20%?

My auto insurance used to have an optional extra for coverage while using a rental car.

Now it has become part of the standard policy, with a commensurate increase in the premium, of course.

Fine if you need it; a hidden cost if you don't.

The extra $20 is a bargain if you include a cart with a rental. Actually I would do it anyway in case I loaned cart out to friends etc. just to be sure.
