The CC bridge will only be for the “other half” of The Villages to use - those living south of 44. The walking ramp stops because that’s as far as those north can walk to view the wonderful Chittee Chattee preserve and modern amenities to come!

Need to add border guards on the bridge.

Aside from golf and the walking trails not sure there is a reason to go south once the curiosity wears off. South coming north when the entertainment returns to the squares, folks playing Champ courses and the restaurants may increase.

I stated that months ago, it's going to get quite busy especially in the Marsh Bend/Laguna areas once the Brownwood bridge opens. There is really nothing to see at this point coming over the Chitty Chatty bridge but there will be in the future.

I wonder if there was all this vitriol when the 441 bridge was opened?

I agree.

In our case, we love the walking trails, golfing at Marshview, and sitting at Edna's, so we go the southern area several times a week.

I doubt it, it was a different generation at the time it was constructed. Have talked to several that were here at the time (yeah they are in their 80's) and they do believe it's a less tolerant and more selfish population here today.

Shhhhh! Please don’t let those north of 44 know about this. We prefer they refer to south of 44 as “down by the prison” and stay far away!🤪

You can't get to golf or to the walking trails from the Chitty Chatty bridge as there is no way to get over the turnpike yet. You will be able to ride or walk through Chitty Chatty and Bradford but that's about it.

I choose to believe that there are still a lot of those who hold their tongue and keep their views and opinions private. I really like that. I have become very outspoken lately and I don't think the people who raised me would like that so much.

All the talk really rarely changes anyone's opinion. Although I still don't have a gun but I am more tolerant of people who do than when I first moved here from a very safe area in Ohio. In fact if things keep revving up in the world I may become a gun owner too. I think that not all change is good, but we have to be aware of what is happening and ready to respond to change.

I still have great hope and belief in the good in most people.
