About 15 minutes ago i could not get on using my chromebook. Ultrasurf did not work.


I googled changing my automatic [DNS] name server to a Google DNS server and that worked. This is what I did on my chromebook to change it.


click the lower right corner of the screen
click Connected To [the name of your network]
click the name of your network
click Network
scroll down to

Name servers [and you have 3 choices]
Automatic name servers
Google name servers
Custom name servers

I picked Google name servers and it worked. I got on TOTV

Later I went back to Automatic name servers and it worked too.

Go figure.

print that out and keep it handy and let me know if it works for you

That's why I prefer chatting online when available. Some companies outsource technical support to another country. I'm not bright enough to substitute the correct word from the word I think I heard.

Cl was working for me so I discarded the email from to TOTV with instructions as to who to call to fix access. Now I can't get on so can I get that information again please? Thanks
