Those belly dancers probably practiced their routine for several hours a week, for several weeks, just to perform for you. They only got 15 minutes scheduled to do so. They had no way to know that the sound wouldn't work for them.

Nasty nasty attitudes - no wonder there are fewer groups offering to entertain lately.
