Default At Closing New Owners Should Watch Roundabout Video

Suggestion: When a new owner closes on their house they MUST watch a short video on how to navigate the roundabouts in The Villages. How hard can this be? The police could easily have this done and ready in no time.

It wouldn't be short. You have to also know how to navigate the people who don't know how to navigate it. And you have to know how to navigate the people who know, but like their way better. And you have to know how to navigate around people who might have known once, but their reaction time is not what it used to be, and handle it too soon, too late, too panicked, too relaxed. You have to be able to navigate people who don't live in the Villages, who have absolutely zero experience with roundabouts, and are experiencing the one they're about to enter for the first time in their lives.

Navigating a roundabout is simple, if you're the only one doing it. The moment you add a second vehicle (or pedestrian), the entire navigation changes.

Isn't there a "new resident welcome party" or Rec Center meet & greet or something like that every month? This thread would be a great place to put a link to the details of it, I think. I just can't remember what it's called, so searching for it is coming up blank.

I'm not sure if there is a monthly organized meet and greet.
