Are you not going to a grocery store? A lot more contact there from a wider array of people. I would wipe down the chair and gate before using. The pool water will kill the virus. I agree, pools should be open, with a limit of people at a time. It’s probably more of a logistic issue to close than threat of the virus.

They're adults and should understand what the situation is. You can bet they will be the first to complain if they get it and they will blame someone other than their own stupidity.

Why does there need to be a law? Just use your head and stay away from everywhere people congregate.

Too bad a few people couldn't follow the rules.
Now we all suffer.

City Fire, Red Sauce, The Chop House, Cody's all had large gatherings of people. About 15 line dancing in the square to piped in music I assume. The reason the pools were closed is because they were limited to 10 people but no one listened. Soon the bars/restaurants will be closed however until then all you self centered non believers do as you want (can't change that unless you have a babysitter monitoring your moves I guess) but stay away from ME!

As well as business owners that only care about the almighty dollar.
You know it is possible they care about their employees ability to earn a living and pay their bills. I would like to see the statistics of the regular old flu posted side by side with covid-19 virus just to add some level of sanity to this whole thing.

Default Swimming pools

Water wont kinn the virus but chlorine will - if TV keeps it at the proper level. Google it if you don't believe me. But its not the pool itself that's the problem -its all the other surfaces At the pool as mentioned above.

Why should Folf (Golf) shops close? You should then close all shops, food markets etc. Really, Golf shops?

omg, i know. we drove thru brownwood last nite & with the western motif, the only thing missing from the ghost town were the tumbleweeds. almost all parking spots were open, & 1 sad looking woman eating alone in the square pavilion. yes, there were customers @ city fire, but very few & they were scattered in different areas of the outside restaurant. riccardi's had ONE person sitting @ the bar, it may have even been an employee on break.
