Coinstar machines, inside Winn-Dixie. The good part is that you can get gift cards for various stores, and there is no fee. If you want to get cash for the coins, there is a 10.9% fee.

If you bank at Bank Of America, you can drop off the coins, and the amount will eventually be loaded into your account.

The Amazon gift card from the coin machine works great. You get 100% on the coins. You load the gift card number once into your Amazon account once and you get 'free' stuff for a while.

Just whatever you do, don't leave the paper "gift card" in your car in the summer time, certainly not on or near the dashboard. It's printed on thermal paper, and the sun will fade it to oblivion, and it will be destroyed.

For sure. A number of places still use those printers. Keeping the receipt in your pocket on a warm day does the same thing. Sometimes I think they use those intentionally. They must save a lot of refunds that way.

Use your phone to take a picture of the receipt, that way you'll never lose it.

Publix has coin counting redemption machines at each location. It’s along the front wall in each store.

Will merchants accept a photo of a gift card? I can imagine going in, opening the photo on your phone, and having someone accept it.

They just need the number, once used the balance is reduced until down to zero or recharged.
