Default Comcast Olympic channels 367 & 368

We recently got a message through Comcast that they were providing two HD channels (367 and 368) for Olympic basketball and soccer. When we try to access them, we get the message "Not Authorized". I have checked with my neighbors on Comcast and they get the same message. Is anyone getting these channels?

When I contacted Comcast, they could provide no explanation other than "We get them here in Fort Myers!". They set up a service call and when I questioned how visiting me could help everyone who is not getting the channels, they suggested everyone who is affected call them. Warning! I had to wait 45 minutes on the first call and an hour on the second call.

We have Comcast but do not subscribe to their HD package. We get the same message on those HD channels. We CAN get the soccer games on Channel 45 (just not HD)
Hope that helps.

If you read the message it said "Not available in all areas". I guess that includes us.

Having had many dealings with Comcast in the past, I'm sure they'll have it fixed in a couple of weeks.

Since Comcast owns NBC you would think they would have the best programming. When they say you get what you pay for, that must mean Comcast. I switched to Directv six years ago because of sports.

At this moment we're getting Olympics in HD on NBC channel 2, CNBC channel 355, MSNBC channel 356 and NBC Sports channel 603. They are all regular channels and are always in HD, nothing special, nothing had to be changed. Also Bravo and USA are in HD all the time and will have Olympic programming.
