STOP AND THINK ! Properties north of 44 are gold compared to south of 44.....
You say why ? Well, try living without a car south of SR44. No problem north. Not to mention everything lacking south of SR44. That IS THE REASON FOR THE BRIDGES!!!! Two different lifestyles. Who’s realtor said “ buy now and we will give you the golf courses, shops, stores, shopping centers, medical facilities LATER. Good luck ! |
Within the first 2-3 years after a new Village is complete you always have a glut of resales. People are buying low then sold high. Making a nice profit. You will see it level off over time.
|
So I am a retired rep for the villages. Please don’t blame your sales rep. They really didn’t lie to you. They were just telling you the most current information on the different timelines that they were told. I know because I was there. Timelines kept changing on us. We only could relay the best information we had at the time. If you walked into the Fenney Sales Center and saw the boards with the timelines that’s where we got our information too. And unfortunately it kept changing. It was frustrating. But be patient. These things will be completed and us folks south of 44 will see a nice jump in house values when they are. We already sold our home in Fenney and made a nice profit and will do the same in Linden in a year or two. Hang in there.

7 Day Market Watch:
New Listings: 13 Back On Market: 8 Sold: 24 Pending: 19 Inventories are very low, things are obviously selling. Pretty uncertain now. I have been through it before (24 years of experience in Florida sales). Prices right, clean and good marketing will do it every time! Good Luck Andrea Bonivich, Sellstate Superior Realty |
Things will definitely turn around once this damn virus is over. It will be several months from now I think. But things will go back to some kind of normal.

Just curious, if you are so bothered by it that you have to come on here and basically repeat the same complaint for 9 months, why haven't you moved to another area in the villages that has the infrastructure you want? And a little secret - The Morse family was wealthy long before you came along and bought one of their houses. Why does that enrage people so much? |
Just in the Pine Ridge area there are a few homes for sale within a block. They have all been on the market for over 30 days. At least one of them is overpriced IMHO.

Always interested in who thinks marketing views of the future is lying. The future is uncertain with many unforeseen events, viruses being a perfect example, as well as marketing is always pushing the boundaries of relative benefits, absolute may be different. Sales people are always looking for a fish in search of a hook. Always understand that everyone else may have a different opinion of the future, and that the future may not be what anyone envisions today. Without thinking through the implications, there is a reason for the comment "Be careful what you wish for" as the unintended consequences of what you think will/should happens, doesn't even come close to happening.
Life with viruses may really be too short to not sell and relocate if you are not happy. FYI, 2 co workers dead from COVID, and several more not in my department at my utility company dead, and being stuck in unhappiness and complaining about whatever is the least of my desires. sportsguy's opinion |
If a home is overpriced the offers will them that, or lack there of.
A seller can always come down almost never up:ohdear: |
