Post Congrats to F16...

Our own F16/Steve is the cover boy on today's Daily Sun for winning the first ever Villages Fishing Tournament. I was trying to spot his faithful canine companion, Teddy, in the weeds but I guess Teddy got the day off. Now we know that the "F" in F16 stands for fisherman!!!

Tell us some fish stories on what and how much you caught and the one that got away.

Way to go, F16!!!

Smile Where's The Fish

We are in Michigan and don't get the paper except on the internet and they don't have that story.
Where did he catch it, how big and what kind was it? We love to fish the ponds and lakes and some are better than others.

I am not a fisherman, but I would like to point out that F16 lived right on the Ohio river. I bet he could catch those mud fish better than anyone...big ones too. Carp? Yeah I think that is what they are called. Anyone have a recipe for Carp?

AND Village07...can't you get your camera out and take a picture of that picture in the Daily Sun and post it right here for us who are off campus to see?

Teddy is probably pouting if he isn't in the picture!!

Who cleans and cooks these fishees?

In which body of water was the tournament held and what kind of fishees were caught?

Recipe for hickory-smoked carp:

Clean the carp and remove the skin

Remove the brownish mud vein from the inside

Season the carp with pepper and Season-All

Place on a hickory board and cook over open charcoal for 7 minutes on each side.

Remove from heat, throw away the carp and eat the hickory board.

They fished Lakes Mira Mar and Golf View. That's what I'd like to know; What kind of fish and how many?

BK, my husband has the same recipe, for salmon, lol!! He wouldn't touch it to eat with a ten foot pole. I love it but carp is another story. Go f16, you got the 15 minutes of fame.
