I got the same hit yesterday and wrote the manager of the web-site (TOTV) and they said they had never heard of this scam and no one else had written them.....I hope someone else lets the site manager know about this stuff....
Thanks |
I've never seen it, in fact I don't see any ads on TOTV, I'm using Firefox.
It's affecting my brain and making me do crazy things just like that car commercial with that puppet guy dancing around and the screen flashing with some weird voice saying "Awesome Style" I will never buy a car from that place.
Did anyone actually click on it? |

Update ok I just saw the awful flashing thing and my browsing history and cookies are deleted. The admin needs to get rid of this ad it looks like one of those sites that trys to steal your info. |
I just saw it again on another thread and I have Google Chrome. Not sure what causes it, but it is very annoying..:swear:
It's not showing up on Safari. Just the normal TOTV ads.
I have not seen it. I am usually coming into the site with my iPad. Could this be a PC thing?
These are the most self-defeating ads I've ever seen.
I didn't know what you were talking about until I just got to the third page of this thread. There it is (and I have Google chrome). You mean I'm not actually the 100,000th visitor? Not that it actually ways you won anything... Yes, it is annoying.
Can Admin chime in on this and let us know if their is anyway they can block it??
Awww I thought it was only me.I was out looking at premier homes.Shucks
Have any of the PC users tried turning on your pop-up blocker?
It's associated to your browsing habits.
What's important is that you use your computer as a guest not an administrator. This is confusing. A guest account cannot install software. An administrator account can install software. If you are logged on as a guest and you click on the wrong thing the "bad guys" will try to install malware on your computer but they can't without an administrator's permission and password. If you are logged on as an administrator or your own name or nickname that has administrator's rights and you click on the wrong thing the "bad guys" will download their software successfully because as the administrator you gave them your permission to install software and possibly take over your machine. This is mostly a windows problem. Windows controls 90 per cent of the market. Bad guys don't bother with apple. |

I use Safari and do not see it now but have seen it in the past, extremely annoying! Glad someone brought it up. I think I'm going to install ad blocker again. I spoke too soon, that VERY annoying flashing smile ad is still here! Sure hope someone gets rid of it soon!
