Just drove the cart through the new portion of the Fruitland Park expansion open to the public and found a curious cart path. At the end of Jones Lane there is a cart path extension wide enough for two-way traffic which extends approximately 25 yards East and then is blocked by a black slat wooden fence typically found around the boundaries of The Villages. You are quite correct. As you probably know, the church was willed the land for the Fruitland Park Villages by the owner of the dairy. TV negotiated with the church for the property, and the church negotiated for cart accessibility and temporary use of Colony Cottage for services until the new church is built.
