Default converting lanai with air and heat

We are making plans to rebuild the screened lanai into a 4-season room with air and heat. I've tried the "I need" in search but could not find contractors for this.......do you know of a really good contractor, builder etc. that you would recommend? I'd really appreciate a name and number. Thanks a bunch!

We just had a 12x18 lanai added to the rear of our house and we used
Melton Construction 259-6081. He did really nice work and was always available.
for questions. What I really liked, when it came time to paint or put up sheetrock He
called in professionals to do the job. A lot of contractors try to do all the jobs
themselves and don't have the expertise. He does a lot of work in the Villages and
handles all the paperwork

Good Luck

Just sent you a private message with another recommendation of a General Contractor who was formerly a construction supervisor here at the Villages before moving out on his own. AS a gerneral contractor he has all the contacts to get the worlk done and handles all Villages and county approvals.

I highly recommend you call Fortin Construction. The owner is Pierre Fortin.
We had him do quite an extensive rennovation and addition to the back of our home to compliment the pool being put in.
TOP quality. Excellent design capability. When they do the work they clean up every day...they take extra precautions to not have the normal every day living area affected by the construction.
One thing Pierre prides himself for is that when he is done, it will look like what ever was added looks to be a part of the original construction....not just an addition.
If you had 3 bids, he would most likely be in the middle or higher than most. However....his work however is the epitomy of you get what you pay for.
Give him a call.....he'll be happy to give you an estimate.

PS If you want more info send me a PM.

Corban Construction is just completing an a 120 square foot addition to our house. I am not the easiest guy to please and I am completely satisfied with their work including their subs.
Call Paul Caruso, President, 357 1787.
BTW, I got three bids and Corban and one other were less than $100 apart. The third , a well respected contractor, was over by more than 50%.

Mz - I used Jerome's Masonry. The addition is about 420 sq ft. They built walls, put in two large walls of oversized glass sliders, french doors and windows. The finish work was excellent. We use that room all the time.
I want to have another 400 +sq ft of the lanai with pool bath put under roof and have concrete pillars built all around the pool area. I will call Jerome.

BTW,as far as I know all of the recommend contractors mentioned above enjoy a good reputation, however, I would advise getting at least three bids.
As I have already mentioned, one of my three bids was way out of line.
I found Corban's bid very thorough and easy to understand. They kept me informed day to day and were also easy to reach.

WE used T&D and couldn't be more satisfied. They came back on minor issues over a year and a half afterwords. Very professional and excellent work.
