Default Beaches closed too late

Amid a National Emergency most beaches were left open to Spring Breakers with no clue as to the infections they will spread while here and when they get home. Irresponsible kids and parents. DeSantis missed the ball by not closing beaches prior to Spring Break.

Lock down Florida now. Relying on individuals isn’t working.

In my home state of Rhode Island the governor closed bars restaurants banned meetings of more than 20 people. Some Floridians will die because of the governor inaction. This virus is a killer for people over 65

In PA the governor has closed all non-essential businesses and industries effective last night with enforcement beginning @ 12:01 am on Saturday. There is a published list of the types to close.

The governor still has not mandated closing all beaches in Florida.

He could follow suit with the likes of PA.

It seems (to me) he prefers to delegate to local authorities to do what they think they have to do.....hence he retains deniability.

I repeat what I said the other day. He needs to stop the lip service and man up and do what needs to be done to protect Florida residents.....politics and special interests belong on page 2 during the crisis.

Shame on DeSantis for not demonstrating leadership when needed.
