Default The Cottages At LSL Are For Sale

Anyone who has had a Lifestyle Preview in The Cottages at LSL has fallen in love with them. They are gorgeous and very unique.

My sales rep tells me they are now for sale .. $479,000 to One Million.

I can't afford to buy one. But if you're interested, my Villages Sales Rep has the information. Debra Park at 800-346-4556.

Bare, I've never been in one, are they going to have open houses? Its a lot of money but they sure do look adorable from the outside. I'd love to view them.

Are the waterfront homes two story or not? I can see them from accross the lake but I can't tell if they are "fake" second levels. If you can swing the price of the waterfront Lake Sumter homes, I think they will be worth a tidy sum
(or shall I say a tidier sum) some day.

Default I'm Guessing They're Being Sold "Furnished"

If all of them are furnished like the ones we stayed in, they are "picture perfect" inside. Both of the ones we stayed in could have been featured in any of the home and garden magazines.

I've always wondered the same, Sam. They appear to have a second level but not sure they do. Are those rooftop windows just for looks?

Arrow Well...

We stayed in two of them and they are beautiful, BUT! But, most have lanai's that literally sit on the house next door and the one we stayed in that was right on the water did not have a screened in porch. Big back porch, but no screen, bugs on ceiling everywhere! Neither was my cup of tea. I also felt the rooms were smaller. Ours, on the water appeared to have a second level, but did not. Just for show.

I wouldn't trade my home with our view for either one of them.

We stayed there for our Preview and they are truly beautiful. Inside and out they are near perfect.

They have a great location but it seems like they also have a big price tag.

I wouldn't trade my CVY for one but I'm sure they will sell them

I wonder if there will be a seperate HOA for them similar to the townhomes at SS. I also wonder if they do not sell right away if the prices will be 50% of what they are now....just like at SS.

I have always loved them but one would have to be willing to have noise around them all the time. The noise from the square at night would be tough to take all the time...but it sure would be a great investment....a renters dream!!

Arrow hmmmmm.....

I don't know, maybe it's me. They just didn't shake my world.

Yes, the location is great if you want to walk to LSL. But the houses themselves were not any prettier than many friends homes I've been in and again, the lania's leave much to be desired.

I'll tell you, when we stayed there, I too felt like OMG! this is just stunning, but after setting my own home up down here, with our privacy, I simply don't see the attraction. And Cassie is certainly right about the noise.

Not for me! No thanks.

The Cottages remind me of a little New England beach community. We loved the verandahs. We stayed in a two-bedroom cottage, probably at least 2,000 square feet. As Kahuna mentioned, they are designer furnished ... "picture perfect" inside!

I'm sure staying in The Cottages was a large part of why we immediately fell madly in love with TV and put in an offer within two days of arriving.

Yes....a RENTERS dream!! Once you have found your own paradise you probably wouldn't like them as much. HOWEVER.....a lot of people that have never been here or want to rent in the heart of TV's would probably pay premium rent for these places.

I don't think I would want to stay there on a regular basis...but it would be a great place for a party weekend.

Maybe we should all invest in one right on the water....call it the TOTV Cottage and reap the rewards of renting it out!
