Which course is a must play...
Will be there on our third preview visit in May. Since we will be spending a lot of time with realtors this trip, we will have limited time to golf.
Which championship course would you recommend as a "must" play ? Thanks..... |

But, re-reading your post, in May I would think all of the courses should be back to good shape, if we get rain and warm weather. Cane was in really nice shape last Fall,, so you may want to consider that. If we get a lot of rain, Glenview is under water, so I'd skip that one, although in the dry season, Glenview is always nice to play. Mallory has been having issues with their greens on and off all year, so I'd scratch that course unless things improve. And Palmer of course, is a beautiful course. So in no particular order, for May, I'd say Palmer, Cane, Lopez, Glenview (depending on rain conditions). Have fun! |

Palmer...The Laurel Valley -Riley Grove wave are the best by far down here...just my opinion!!
Also Havana Kenya is great...Along with Hibiscus on Cane Garden!! |

Thanks for the info... We've played Palmer, Lopez and Havana on previous visits. We haven't played Cane, so maybe that's a good possibility. We really like Palmer and Lopez...very nice courses.
From some posts on here, I think we'll have dinner Lopez one evening. Sounds like a good place to dine... Thanks again and can't wait for May! |
