Why did you think it was private?

Agreed ..... but it's $80 now if you pay for the year.

Actually it is now $80 per year, an increase of 45% since 2012.

Worth every penny to us to keep us informed of what’s going on in TV. Though it’s not the Arkansas Gazette or the Kansas City Star, it is a good local paper.

The newspaper where I came from was about $450 a year and it was unreadable. I cancelled it after having subscribed over 20 years when I just couldn't take it anymore. The Daily Sun is a great deal.

The private event at the polo field I referred to occurred on Sunday. The golf fest ended on Saturday.

Signs at the entrances stated 'private event' and security people in orange shirts were either letting people in or turning them away. I believe I saw horse trailers in the distance.

I suppose I should have pulled in And asked what was going on, But I was headed for lunch .

And while I'm not hungry anymore I'm still curious.

Is it a pre-polo get together, since you saw horses?
