Thanks for all the responses. Apparently, this (below) is what we need:-.
-"A COVID-19 test is required before you get on a plane to England.
-The test must be within 2-days/48 hours before boarding time.
-Make sure that your vendors test meets performance standards of ≥97% specificity, ≥80% sensitivity at viral loads above 100,000 copies/ml.
-This could include tests such as a nucleic acid test, a PCR test, LAMP test or an antigen test, or the LFD (lateral flow device) test.
-Be sure to check with your test provider that the test meets these standards.
-In Person Test must be face-to-face with a 'certifier'.
-A self-administered test with video or photo verification is acceptable, (assuming that you know those special rules."

Funny thing is, it looks as if UK is going to lift the need for test for arrivals from abroad in the near future!
Guess there are so many with the bug, it's more a case shutting the stable after the horse has gone.
Our PM is introducing no more restriction.
Looks as if we are just going to ride out the latest wave.
