Back in the day, the popular loyalty stamps were S&H Green Stamps, Top Value Stamps, Gold Bond Stamps & Plaid Stamps. There were others but not as well known and usually more limited in areas they were available.
Of course, along with those, were we getting all those goodies in the soap boxes, glasses, dish towels, etc. I still have my entire set for 12 dishes I collected each week at A&P. My last Green Stamp purchase was a griddle, one side flat and flip it over for waffles. Oh yea, to stay on subject, I did not see a coyote yesterday. |
