Moved here fm a university town.
Trading young reckless for old codgers.
I like whippersnappers better than oldsters, who typically sit there yielding a right of way they should be using because they are way too slow, dumbly polite, and do not know they are creating chaos.

That is true. They do exist everywhere, but at the time of the year when the leaves fall, they become more evident here.

We were heading east on 466a last night doing the speed limit approaching where it narrows, just past Colony, when a SUV came barreling up, passed us in the right caution lane and zoomed off.

Last week I saw someone entering from the exit lane to Sumter Landing from the roundabout on Stillwater. Also last night someone stopped DEAD in the middle of the roundabout on Buena Vista and Stillwater.

PLEASE be careful. There are all kinds of new folks here who don't know their way around, aren't used to driving, haven't relaxed into our unhurried lifestyle, or are relaxing a great deal with the two-fer drinks, and they are making our roads much more dangerous. I want you all here at the end of March.

Once again it seem like the snowbird are taking the hit-- "but at the time of the year when the leaves fall" ----" I want you all here at the end of March"

Nity...if I said it was red you'd say it was purple.

You could also surmise "when the population swells". Or when a lot of people visit Florida....or when the sandhill cranes honk a lot or when the local restaurants and bars notice they are ordering more booze..

I don't want to blame the snowbirds. I have to say it seems like the last 2 weeks the crazies have started on the cart paths and roads.

Trust me, those roadsters are Singles Unclub Halloween Zombies.
I am sworn to secrecy and said too much already--please do not ask for more info.

I agree. The intent was apparent.
