I have witnessed several instances recently of people (pedestrians) crossing Avenida Central and having to dodge traffic. So far as I've been able to see, there is only one crosswalk (difficult to see because it's so dirty) across this rather extensive street. In particular, I've seen people trying to walk from the east end of the shopping center where Belk's is to the newer area, Rolling Acres. Surely this could be addressed without much expense or disruption.
