Neither would the one before this. I thought I had a computer glitch---so I deleted all browsing history, cache and cookies. I released and renewed my ipconfig and flushed the DNS, and still nothing. Strange, I read the post last night. No problem. I read this post. No problem. I scrolled down my N ew Posts page and the cynical money grab was there, opened it up, read it again and the one reply. Again, no problem.

So, why am I able to open up the thread and others can't?

The thread referred to by the OP, 10% water surcharge or money grab, is alive and well and actively being replied to, so, this is a non-issue.

Moderators delete threads and posts because they violate one or more site guidelines. Off topic, directed at other persons, including political references, self promotion, duplicates, etc.

If you post a reply that quotes a post that is subsequently deleted, yours will also be deleted as an orphan. You can repost your thought without referring to the deleted post.

We do close threads that get hopelessly off track or devolve into member on member bickering.

Finally, the moderators do our best to be fair and impartial and keep our personal opinions and biases out of our actions.
