The problem with getting the cut you want in TV is because almost every stylist is trained at the academy in TV whose owner also owns most of the salons in TV. Makes sense to me.

I go to Cal's barber shop in Sumpter. I have found that a Barber will cut my just as I ask. My barber happens to be a female. I know, going to a new hairstylist is scary!! They never listen to what I ask and assume they know my hair better than I do (65), than they do when they have never seen me before. Cal's barber shop in Spanish Springs, does perms and hair color, eye brow waxing, etc. As I said before, I am so very pleased with Cal's Barber shop

A little kindness toward those new to the forum, recognizing they might know the humor and feel slighted...

I went to Tuscany Day Spa for a pedicure..The pedicure was poorly done..The price on the phone that was quoted to me was not the same price that was on my bill...I complained; they said this is the price; I said I'm NOT paying it!! They changed the bill to the original price-I did not tip the tech..They were extremely rude-I never went back..
I have my hair done-color, cut, perm & style at Mon Ami hair salon...Girls name is Barbara-she does beautiful work...Prices are very fair..Tell her Sandi sent you..They are on 25 in Lady Lake....

I have appointments for massage and pedi's over the Easter break with my daughter. I'll let you know how it goes. I've heard such good things about the spa that I was excited to try it. This is the first I've heard negative comments.
