Default Day Trip for Anniversary

My husband and I would like to take a little day trip for our Anniversary this Sunday. We would appreciate any suggestions.

Central Florida on a tankful is a great website, also.

Happy Anniversary.

Check out Bok Tower Gardens. Be sure to be there for the Carillon performance, (twice a day).

Bok Tower Gardens in Central Florida | A Piece of Florida History near Tampa and Orlando

Winter Haven is 30 min away with plenty of dining choices.

Of course there is always a trip to Sweetlane’s in Vandergrift.

You live here now... Do you have to leave your home? Close everything up and pretend you are away. Make a beautiful meal... pour a glass of wine, disconnect from everything and toast to your special day. ❤️

Who would make the meal? I'll take the wine, but give me a nice rez or outing for a special day. There are plenty of other days to stay home.

The Bayfront Inn in St Augustine, a nice room overlooking the bay. Dinner at La Pentola, and a walk back to the Inn along the waterfront. Take A1A back to Ormand Beach, then 40 thru the Ocala forest. A quick BBQ lunch at Fat Boys then home. PERFECT Happy Anniversary Len & Mary

Same question^^^

We have #56 coming up next month and are trying to decide what we want to do. Thinking of a weekend in St Augustine. Golf, sightseeing, dinners out and some beach time is sounding good to us.

Thumbs up

We had a wonderful 2 days in St. Augustine. We haven't been there for 7 years. We stopped at Ft. Matanzas on the way and were treated to a dolphin show on the ferry boat ride to the Fort. We went to St. Augustine's beach after that. The next day we went to St. Augustine's lighthouse and walked up the 219 steps. We had the town almost all to ourselves because everyone was getting ready for the eclipse. We enjoyed the Castillo de San Marcos Fort, the colonial village, St. George St., the Oldest House.
We had a nice dinner in the Chianti Room at Pizzalley.
Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Thank you South of the Border for reminding me of Sweetlane's. That would be an enjoyable trip also!
