Default December weather in the Villages

We were in the Villages December 2010 but not last year. December 2010 was a very chilly December in the Villages with far few days in the 70's. What was December's weather like last year in 2011? We are planning on coming out again this December. Hopefully warmer than in 2010.

last yr we had many days in the mid 70s. We went on a cart caravan to look at lights one evening and it was 72 at 9 pm!

Last year we ate Christmas Eve and Christmas dinners outside on the lanai.

It was close to 80 degrees.

I could not wear my new Christmas sweater that I bought for the occasion...what the heck was I thinking?

I wore shorts all but 5 days last winter. At this rate my jeans will never wear out.

I have tracked high tempuratures for the winters I have been here. Silly, yeah I know, I get bored watching tv sometimes

In December 2010 there were 12 days where the high temp never reached 60 degrees f. The coldest December since I have been here. I have been here since 2007. In 2011 there were zero days under 60. Sweet....

You just never know 'cause mother Nature does what she sees fit. But I can promise you it's not like the midwest or northeast. At least you never, ever have to scrape ice off your window or shovel that white stuff that is a four letter word. Come and enjoy the lifestyle and the weather will become secondary!
