Default Deed scam

If you recently bought a house you are probably getting an official looking letter from an obscure company about the deed. It’s junk.

You can access and view your deed online on the county website. You can print a copy if you want, but a paper deed is pretty much worthless.

We were warned at the closing that we would get these letters... they really do look official.... just ignore them.
