If you can get the battery out, you will get the $40 core charge when you go to the store, it appears any of the other suggested options you lose the core charge. If you can borrow a charger, I would attempt to charge the battery, and get the car started, go to the Autoparts store and have them install a new battery. Just an FYI, the Florida AAA does not actually DO anything, compared to other locations. No foreign currency, no maps, (understandable they're mostly not printed now) and when I called them for a breakdown on I-95 they said they don't do that either. I bet that the guy they sent is just about the most response you would ever get from them. So I'm thinking I won't renew, there are better alternatives. And my bank will provide foreign currency so who needs AAA?
